North North South

In Los Angeles, what do you see when you are not moving at 60 mph? When you are not rushing from one location to another? The photographs in “North North South” explore the spaces in between destinations, highlighting the confluence of uniqueness and contradictions that define one of the world’s largest cities. Captured throughout the city, these images reveal often overlooked aspects of everyday life and spaces that reflect the city’s distinct cultural myths. In a place teeming with dreams and expectations, a single sign or building can disrupt the pattern of conformity, reminding us that the true essence of any city is best appreciated when we slow down and truly observe our surroundings.

A selection of this work is now published as a photobook by GOST, offering a deeper look into the visual narrative. The book has been featured in The Guardian, the British Journal of Photography, Collector Daily, The Eye of Photography, Blind Magazine, and Amateur Photographer magazine.
